PETERSBURG, Russia – While President Donald Trump works around the clock to stop the madness and broker real peace, both Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyy are playing a dangerous, cynical game of geopolitical chicken, perfectly content to sacrifice civilian lives while globalist elites in Europe, China, and Washington sit back and pray for a Republican collapse this November.
The brutal reality on the ground laid bare the utter bad faith defining this conflict when a massive wave of over 1,000 Ukrainian drones targeted Russian territory, setting the St. Petersburg Oil Terminal and the Ruchi oil depot ablaze, while also hitting a logistics center for retailer Ozon and a tech data center for VK. According to local officials, the fiery barrage killed at least one person, wounded five others, and followed heavy aerial strikes by Moscow that battered Ukrainian energy grids, damaged apartment buildings in Zaporizhzhia, and left tens of thousands of families without power.
Putin is certainly not blameless in this humanitarian disaster; his relentless targeting of civilian infrastructure and refusal to genuinely step back prove that Moscow is more than happy to keep the furnace burning. But Kyiv is right there with him. Following President Trump's announcement of an "energy ceasefire" designed to de-escalate the four-and-a-half-year war, Ukraine barely waited three days before shattering the pause and resuming direct attacks on Russian energy assets. Instead of embracing diplomatic salvation, Volodymyr Zelenskyy took to social media to whine about peace efforts, accusing Russia of 76 attacks on energy and gas sectors in just one week while demanding even more blank checks.
Let’s call this what it is: a coordinated political gamble. Both leaders know that real peace is being driven by American leadership under Donald Trump. And that is precisely what the globalist establishment across Brussels, Beijing, and Washington fears most. These transnational technocrats and corrupt bureaucrats are heavily banking on the GOP losing upcoming elections, desperately hoping to restore the old, open-checkbook warmongering machine that lines their pockets. Zelenskyy and Putin are both playing their parts in this globalist theater, gambling with regional stability in hopes of outlasting American common sense.
When foreign leaders treat American peace initiatives like a suggestion box while everyday citizens bleed out for political leverage, it becomes painfully obvious why the swamp wants to derail the America First agenda. True accountability means refusing to play their game, cutting off the endless cycle of corruption, and demanding leaders who value human life over globalist election interference.
