Vice President JD Vance delivered a crushing blow to the left after House Democrats released an alleged image of a birthday note from President Donald Trump to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The left’s dreams of tying Trump to Epstein were shattered as Vance pointed out the obvious flaw in their so-called evidence—this wasn’t Trump’s signature.
Anyone familiar with Trump knows that his signature is one of the most iconic things associated with him. From his MAGA apparel to the 47 hats, to the Executive Orders he’s signed, it’s unmistakable. So when Democrats and the media attempted to present what they claimed was a birthday note from Trump to Epstein, it didn’t take long for Vance and the rest of Trump’s team to expose the lie.
In a tweet, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt immediately hit back, calling the document a "Democrat Epstein Hoax." She emphasized that the signature wasn’t Trump’s, writing, “The latest piece published by the Wall Street Journal PROVES this entire 'Birthday Card' story is false. As I have said all along, it's very clear President Trump did not draw this picture, and he did not sign it.” Leavitt also pointed out that the "reporter" responsible for this so-called scoop reached out for comment exactly when he published the story, giving the White House no time to respond. Clearly, the media’s agenda was set in stone, and it had nothing to do with the truth.
Vance wasn’t having any of it either. Calling out the Democrats for their obsession with smearing Trump, he tweeted, "The Democrats don't care about Epstein. They don't even care about his victims. That's why they were silent about it for years. The only thing they care about is concocting another fake scandal like Russiagate to smear President Trump with lies." He was quick to add, “No one is falling for this BS.”
Even Deputy White House Chief of Staff Taylor Budowich got in on the action, slamming the media outlet behind the birthday card story. “Time for @newscorp to open that checkbook, it's not his signature. DEFAMATION!” he wrote, doubling down on the fact that this was nothing more than a smear campaign.
As reported by RedState’s Joe Cunningham, the Wall Street Journal’s alleged “scoop” involved a so-called "bawdy" birthday card from Trump to Epstein back in 2003. Trump wasted no time dismissing the story as fake news and promised legal action would follow.
Once again, the left’s attempts to tie Trump to Epstein fall flat. The media's obsession with creating false scandals has been exposed for what it is—an effort to smear a president who has done more to protect this country than they care to admit. And as always, the American people see through it.
