A startling development has come in the ongoing saga of Clinton advisor Mark Middleton’s mysterious death in May 2022 at a ranch in Perryville, Arkansas. Middleton was found hanging from a tree having suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. This death has been determined by Perry County Sheriff’s investigators to be, surprisingly, a suicide.
The 59-year-old was initially discovered by ranch worker Samantha McElroy who first discovered Middleton’s abandoned black BMW on the grounds, she then stepped around a cottage corner and found him, according to The Daily Mail. Sheriff’s Deputy Jeremy Lawson wrote in his report,
“Almost immediately after stepping around the corner of the cottage, she started yelling.”
He continued, “Upon reaching the back of the cottage she pointed towards the rear of the property and asked if that was a person.”
“I could see what at first appeared to be a man sitting near a tree, as my eyes focused better, I could see a rope of some type going from the tree limb to the male.”
Lawson added that it was clear from the start that Middleton was dead.
“I could see that he had a gunshot wound to the chest and that he had a knot tied in an extension cord that was around his neck and it was attached to the limb directly above him.”
In many early reports, it was noted that no murder weapon was located, however, new documents reported by the Mail revealed that a Stoeger 12-gauge shotgun was found approximately 30 feet from where Middleton was hanged.
Documentation released by Sergeant Keenan Carter showed that the former Clinton advisor, who as it happens was also connected to deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, sent a text to his wife right before he died saying he had “found a perfect place for a nap in the sun.”
“Going to rest for a while. You are a great Mom and wife babe. Please be happy today and get some sun. It will make you feel better. I love you,” he wrote to her.
The documents allege that Middleton then dragged an 8-foot-long bench near to a tree with a view of the valley.
“He stood on top of the bench and tied one end of the extension cord to a large limb of the tree and the other end around his neck. It is believed that Mr. Middleton then took the firearm and placed the barrels against his chest and then reached out with his left hand and placed his first finger on the first trigger,” Carter’s report said.
It continued, “It is then believed that Mr. Middleton pulled the trigger on the firearm casing (sic) it to discharge and strike him in the chest and then he fell from the bench causing the extension cord to become tight cutting off his breathing.”
A lingering question for many people who read the report has been, how did the gun wind up thirty feet from the body?
“A Perry County sheriff now says a gun WAS found, 30 feet from his body”. That’s one brave sheriff.

The report suggests that this was “due to the recoil from the discharge and the height and angle of the ground,” adding, “This officer didn’t find any evidence to indicate that there was anyone else present with Mr. Middleton at this scene or any evidence that there was any type of struggle and or foul play.”
Middleton also flew on Epstein’s jet, nicknamed the ‘Lolita Express.’ More recently he had been working for his family’s HVAC business in Little Rock.
Middleton’s cause of death is listed as a suicide caused by a “contact shotgun wound of the chest and hanging.”
The Arkansas Times reported that according to his family, Middleton was being treated for depression.
The Daily Mail notes in their reports that “White House visitor logs previously reported by DailyMail.com showed that he appears as the authorizing signatory on seven of Epstein’s White House visits, most of which were to the West Wing.”
A 1996 investigation by White House staff concluded Middleton had abused his access to impress his business connections and was barred from accessing the Executive mansion without high-level approval. The Mail also alleged that “Middleton also flew on Epstein’s jet, nicknamed the ‘Lolita Express’. More recently he had been working for his family’s HVAC business in Little Rock.”
