A legal immigrant from Senegal has been arrested in New Jersey by agents from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for allegedly casting illegal ballots in several federal elections, including the pivotal 2020 and 2024 presidential contests.
Sanata Coulibaly, who entered the United States in September 1993 and received a green card from the Obama administration in November 2009, now faces charges of unlawful procurement of citizenship or naturalization and voting by an alien. According to prosecutors, Coulibaly allegedly voted illegally in the 2018, 2020, and 2024 elections, directly undermining the integrity of America’s sacred electoral process.
DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin did not mince words regarding the serious nature of the charges, stating, "This alien from Senegal has been charged with procurement of citizenship or naturalization unlawfully and voting by an alien after allegedly voting in three general elections in New Jersey. Sanctuary politicians can try to claim that this kind of voter fraud isn’t happening, but it’s very real and is a serious threat to our country. Non-citizens have no right to vote in our elections. The Trump Administration will always protect the integrity of our election systems so that only American citizens are electing American leaders."
