Massachusetts, under Democrat Governor Maura Healey, just took that chilling step, signing a bill that allows what progressives grotesquely label "birthing people" to terminate pregnancies right up until the moment of birth. Only at that point, it seems, does a human life magically gain value in their eyes.
With this move, Massachusetts joins a grim roster of nine other states and the District of Columbia—including Alaska, Colorado, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, and Vermont—in achieving the dubious "success" of eradicating virtually all gestational age limits for abortion. This isn't about healthcare; it's about the relentless expansion of a culture of death.
Predictably, this horrifying measure is lauded as a "legislative win" by the leftist Boston Globe, demonstrating just how far the progressive agenda has strayed from basic human decency. The Globe reported:

State law used to allow abortion at that stage only under specific circumstances, including to preserve a patient’s life.

One can only pray that this "professional judgment of a physician" doesn't lead to a replay of horrors like those perpetrated by the infamous abortionist Dr. Kermit Gosnell, whose unspeakable acts exposed the dark underbelly of late-term abortion.
