Hurricane Bibi just blew through the United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York City and, boy, did he leave a trail of destruction in his wake. In his powerful Thursday afternoon address in front of the U.N., Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu unleashed what appeared to be months of pent-up frustration over the relentless, often biased criticism of Israel. He set his sights on everyone from diplomats who disgracefully walked out on him to the hostile regimes of Iran, Qatar, and Turkey – but he saved some of his most savage comments for the radical mayor of the very city from which he spoke.
Bibi had a clear, unvarnished message for the streams of delegates who headed for the doors as he began speaking and those protesting out on the streets: they are phonies and cowards, every last one. "If there are any other moral cowards that haven't yet left this hall, please do so now, thank you very much," he declared, cutting through the usual diplomatic pleasantries with righteous indignation.
"You're phony human rights protesters!"
Netanyahu called out people in the streets outside the U.N. and delegates who walked out, accusing them of a glaring double standard over Iran.
"Where were you?" the Israeli prime minister demanded, pointing to Iranians killed and injured by their own government and Christians facing persecution.
"Did you organize mass rallies, hunger strikes? Did you protest outside the Iranian mission to the U.N.? Did you speak out?"
Netanyahu first aimed his fire directly at Iran, arguing with undeniable clarity that Israel's decisive action to dismantle Tehran's nuclear infrastructure wasn't just about protecting Israel. It was about safeguarding much of the free world from the existential threat posed by the Islamic Republic. A true leader, making the tough calls for global security.
"Devastating Iran’s nuclear facilities was hard," he stated, "but for me it was one of the easiest decisions I’ve had to make as prime minister. If I hadn’t done it, we’d be dead." He then exposed the sheer, mind-blowing hypocrisy, revealing that some of the very governments now condemning Israel had privately thanked him for taking on Iran. A classic example of the globalist establishment speaking out of both sides of its mouth.
Bibi then turned his attention to Qatar and Turkey, accusing both nations of actively participating in what he termed the "eighth front" against Israel – nothing less than a "war for truth." He detailed how Qatar has poured billions into spreading anti-Israel propaganda through universities and mouthpieces like Al Jazeera, then blasted Turkey for openly harboring Hamas terrorists and amplifying its own virulently anti-Israel message.
Netanyahu reserved particularly sharp words for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, whom he rightly called a "tyrant." He then publicly mocked Erdoğan's ludicrous ambitions regarding Jerusalem: "He says he will be the ruler of Jerusalem. No sir, you won’t. It is our city."
Boom.
Speaking of boom, Bibi even injected a bit of classic Israeli wit, producing a beeper from his pocket and taunting, "remember the beepers?" A subtle nod to an era when threats were perhaps less complex, but the resolve to confront them remained as strong.
The taunting truly escalated when he arrived at the egregious topic of New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
And this one was personal.
Mamdani, a fixture of the radical left, has repeatedly accused Netanyahu of committing war crimes and genocide in Gaza. He even brazenly promised to arrest the Israeli prime minister under a dubious International Criminal Court warrant if Netanyahu ever dared to step foot in New York City. The woke mayor was, of course, left with egg on his face after having to admit he possessed no actual authority to make such an arrest happen. Another empty threat from the progressive playbook.
Standing defiantly at the podium in the U.N. headquarters building – smack dab in the middle of New York City – Netanyahu rightly accused the mayor of fostering an environment where Jewish citizens no longer feel safe in their own city. He blasted Mamdani for his undisguised hostility toward Israel, a nation simply defending its right to exist.
"You can’t silence me. You can’t silence the truth," Netanyahu declared with unwavering conviction.
Then came the hammer.
"The days when Jews were defenseless victims marched to the slaughter, those days are over," he powerfully asserted. "Today we have a state. Today we have an army." A stark, unmistakable reminder of Israel's unwavering strength and the profound shift from a tragic past.
"Shame on you!"
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took direct aim at Zohran Mamdani, calling the Mayor of New York City an "anti-Semitic" demagogue and accusing him of spreading dangerous lies about Israel and its brave soldiers.
"Shame on you for distorting the facts. Shame on you for inverting victim and aggressor. Shame on you for spitting in the face of truth."
That is certainly one way to respond to a radical politician who wanted you arrested – happily commandeer the biggest international stage his town has to offer and deliver your message directly to him, with the world watching. In a world increasingly beset by woke narratives and anti-freedom ideologies, Netanyahu offered a masterclass in unapologetic, principled leadership.
We can consider that message unequivocally delivered: truth, strength, and unwavering resolve will always triumph over moral cowardice and politically motivated slander.
