Radical Left's Own Devour Themselves: NYC Dem Blasts DSA As 'White Supremacy' Amidst Diversity Debacle

The spectacle of the radical left turning on itself offers a rare moment of clarity, exposing the gaping chasm between their lofty rhetoric and their inconvenient reality. Nowhere is this more apparent than the recent, delicious drama unfolding in New York City.

Queens Borough President Donovan Richards, a black Democrat, didn't pull any punches, taking to social media to brand the increasingly influential Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) with the very accusation they often hurl at others: "White supremacy."

Richards' indictment highlighted the DSA's inconvenient truth: for all their fervent calls for "diversity" and "equity," the group seems to conveniently overlook minority voices within its own ranks, prioritizing their anti-capitalist agenda above all else. "White supremacy comes in all forms," Richards stated, aiming his words directly at the progressive darling.

This internal friction wasn't an isolated incident. A recent New York Times report, focusing on the uber-left wing of the Democrat Party, inadvertently triggered a classic "woke" self-own. A DSA state assembly member, Phara Souffrant Forrest, complained the story failed to mention a black DSA member, only for it to be discovered she hadn't bothered to read the entire piece. A journalist's attempt to clarify was too late; the damage to the left's self-image was already done.

Richards then invoked a searing Malcolm X quote about "smiling" white liberals, a profound observation that rings truer now than ever as the progressive establishment struggles to reconcile its self-proclaimed virtue with its actions:

“The white liberals are more dangerous than the conservatives; they lure the Negro, and as the Negro runs from the growling wolf, he flees into the open jaws of the ‘smiling’ fox.”

The raw data further shatters the DSA's progressive facade. Despite their backing of prominent figures like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, a 2021 poll revealed a telling truth: a staggering 85 percent of DSA members are white, often affluent, college-educated individuals earning over $100,000 annually. Just a paltry four percent identify as Black. Diversity? Apparently, that's for everyone else.

This isn't just about optics. Richards, a long-serving Democrat representing a more moderate district, champions homeownership as a path to generational wealth for minority communities. This stands in direct opposition to top Mamdani advisor Cea Weaver, who chillingly labels homeownership "a weapon of white supremacy masquerading as "wealth-building public policy." The internal war over fundamental American values is laid bare within the Democrat ranks.

The progressive movement, with its constant demands for ideological purity, is now openly consuming itself. As the radical left tears down its own, Americans are left to watch the spectacle and question if such a deeply fractured and hypocritical ideology can ever truly serve the people. This infighting isn't just entertaining; it's a critical lesson in the absurdity of policies detached from common sense and genuine American values, a reminder that the America First movement stands for unity and true opportunity, not self-defeating ideological purity tests.
