Special Envoy Steve Witkoff is reportedly traveling to Switzerland as the United States prepares for potential nuclear negotiations with Iran, according to reporting cited in recent diplomatic updates.
In a post on X, Barak Ravid, global affairs correspondent for Axios and CNN analyst, stated that Witkoff is en route to Switzerland. The report also indicated that Jared Kushner, another U.S. envoy linked to President Donald Trump’s diplomatic team, has already arrived in the country.
According to Ravid, the meetings were initially expected to begin on Friday but were postponed due to ongoing regional tensions involving the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah. Officials have not yet confirmed a new start date for the talks.
