Trump Considering "Massive Attack" on Iran Far Larger than Initial Operation Epic Fury Strikes

President Donald Trump revealed he is actively considering a major escalation against Iran, describing a potential strike that would dwarf the opening salvos of Operation Epic Fury.

In an interview with Axios, Trump stated: “I am considering a massive attack. Bigger than ever before. I am close to making a decision. We are all set for it.” He added that no final decision has been made on timing.

The President also noted that Israel would join such an operation “in two minutes” if asked, but stressed that the United States does not need assistance, saying “we don’t need anybody” to carry out the campaign.

This comes amid ongoing U.S. strikes on Iranian military targets and continued Iranian threats to disrupt shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. Trump’s comments signal a willingness to dramatically increase pressure on the regime if it does not cease its aggression.

The Iranian leadership has repeatedly shown it responds only to strength. A significantly larger operation could target deeper into Iran’s military and nuclear-related infrastructure, aiming to decisively degrade its capacity to threaten the region and global energy supplies.

The coming days may prove pivotal as the administration weighs the next phase of its response to Tehran’s provocations.
