Trump Expands Deportation Strategy with New Central African Republic Agreement

The Trump administration is preparing to launch a new phase of its immigration enforcement strategy through a recently established third-country agreement with the Central African Republic (CAR), according to reports.

Under the arrangement, a group of Iranian asylum-seekers and other migrants could be deported to the Central African nation, with the first flight expected to depart as early as Thursday. Reports indicate that approximately 20 individuals are scheduled to be on board.

The reported passenger list includes migrants from Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, and one Turkish national. The move reflects the administration’s continued effort to address immigration challenges by expanding partnerships with foreign nations willing to cooperate on deportation and relocation agreements.

While critics will undoubtedly have plenty to say—as they usually do whenever immigration laws are actually enforced—the administration appears determined to pursue additional avenues to manage asylum claims and strengthen border security measures.

The agreement with the Central African Republic represents another example of the Trump administration’s commitment to implementing policies designed to discourage illegal migration and ensure that immigration procedures are carried out according to established laws and agreements.

As the first flight prepares for departure, the administration continues to demonstrate its willingness to explore new solutions to one of the most pressing issues facing the nation, reinforcing its broader agenda of law, order, and national security.
