DUBAI — The U.S. military carried out its 11th consecutive night of strikes on Iran early Wednesday, targeting aircraft hangars and drone storage sites as diplomatic efforts to salvage a ceasefire continued to crumble.

U.S. Central Command confirmed the latest barrage, which follows President Donald Trump’s clear signal that American operations against the regime are set to intensify. Before the strikes, Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni traveled to Pakistan — a key mediator — in a bid to restart talks. However, prospects for any meaningful breakthrough remain dim.

Speaking from the Oval Office on Tuesday, Trump expressed little faith in negotiations, stating the U.S. had “no interest in meeting.” He also hinted at potential future strikes near one of Iran’s primary uranium enrichment sites.

The conflict has increasingly centered on control of the Strait of Hormuz, the critical waterway responsible for a massive share of global energy supplies. With shipping largely stalled and diplomacy going nowhere, both sides have escalated actions that impact civilian infrastructure relied upon by millions across the region.
