Videos Expose 'Translators' Coercing Migrant Ballots, Democrat Rep Flagrantly Breaks Electioneering Law

Explosive video footage from early voting in Lewiston, Maine, appears to show an alarming pattern of election irregularities and potential voter fraud. The surveillance video, obtained through a state Freedom of Access Act request, raises serious questions about the integrity of the ballot box in a city grappling with a significant influx of Somali migrants since 2002.

The footage allegedly captures operatives from a left-wing non-government organization – purporting to offer "translators" – actively violating state election laws. These "aides" are seen coaching "newcomer" voters, directly filling out their ballots, and handling them, actions explicitly forbidden under Maine statutes. The evidence, initially reported earlier this week, has only intensified concerns about vote manipulation.

In one particularly egregious instance, a woman in traditional Somali garb, who conversed fluently in English with a poll worker, subsequently required a "translator" to assist her in voting. The video starkly depicts this "translator" illegally handling the woman's ballot, a clear breach of Maine's strict election protocols.

Further compiled video segments purportedly show multiple encounters where these "translators" are seen marking ballots and directly interacting with them, effectively usurping the voter's autonomy. This raises the critical question of whether these "newcomer" voters are truly making independent choices or being directed by partisan actors.

Maine Wire highlighted the specific legal prohibitions: "Under Maine law, voters may request a translator, but there are strict rules as to what aides can and cannot do when it comes to assisting voters. Translators are not allowed to offer assistance but must wait until assistance is requested, and they are not allowed to influence voters’ choices. The translators are not allowed to mark up a ballot, and they cannot approach or interrupt a voter who is already in the booth." The videos seem to contradict these fundamental safeguards at almost every turn.

U.S. Attorney for Maine Andrew Benson has acknowledged the gravity of the situation, telling Maine Wire reporter Steve Robinson that his office "review all evidence concerning complaints of voter intimidation and election interference, including the video from Lewiston’s early voting at City Hall." He added, "We will not tolerate threats to the integrity of our elections, and we look forward to working with the Attorney General’s Office and the Secretary of State’s office to defend our democracy." While these words are welcome, America First patriots will be watching closely for decisive action, not just statements.

As if to underscore a broader pattern of disregard for election laws by the Left, Maine Wire also uncovered another alarming incident involving Democrat State Rep. Scott Harriman. Harriman was reportedly caught holding a political demonstration *inside* an early voting place, a blatant violation of state election laws.

This demonstration, allegedly orchestrated by the extremist, Soros-funded Maine People’s Alliance, took place just outside the room where ballots were being cast. Maine’s election law strictly prohibits any electioneering within 250 feet of a polling place. Yet, a sitting Democrat representative was apparently leading a rally mere feet from voting machines and where voters entered and exited. The brazenness is astonishing, demonstrating a clear contempt for the rules designed to ensure fair and unpressured voting.

These incidents in Maine are not isolated anomalies; they are vivid reminders of the constant battle for election integrity and the relentless attempts by the radical Left and their allied organizations to undermine the sanctity of our votes. Americans deserve honest elections where every legal ballot counts, and every illegal action is swiftly met with accountability. The fight to protect our democracy from internal subversion continues.
