Watch: Anti-ICE Agitator Learns the Hard Way That Attacking Federal Agents Is a Bad Idea

Some members of the anti-ICE crowd are still in full meltdown mode in Minneapolis following the shooting of Renee Good, and over the weekend one agitator provided a very public lesson in cause, effect, and consequences.

News Nation’s Ali Bradley shared video of an incident outside a federal building involving a protester she said threw a water bottle at federal agents. While the footage doesn’t capture the throw itself, it clearly shows what came next—and it wasn’t a victory lap.

The individual is seen flipping off officers before sprinting down the street, apparently hoping speed and attitude would solve the problem. Spoiler alert: it didn’t. DHS agents immediately gave chase, despite wearing full, heavy gear. Another agitator can be heard mocking them for “doing cardio,” right up until the agents caught the runner and put her face down in the snow. Turns out fitness isn’t optional in federal law enforcement.

Backup arrived quickly—around 50 agents—and when officers attempted to lift the woman, she initially refused to stand. That move is a familiar one, frequently used by leftist activists to complicate arrests and force officers to carry them. It’s a tactic, not a principle.

Meanwhile, another anti-ICE protester stood nearby, hurling verbal abuse. With agents having completely secured the area, his role was reduced to what these situations often become for activists: yelling loudly and accomplishing nothing.

“Are you proud of what you’re doing?” the man demanded of the officers. “Have you read the Constitution?”

Ironically, the agents should be proud. They were enforcing the law under intense harassment, exactly as they are tasked to do by laws passed by Congress. They acted professionally throughout the encounter, despite taunts, insults, and an alleged assault. If anyone in that scene understands the Constitution, it’s likely the people actually upholding it.

These activists repeatedly behave as if they’re above the law, convinced that their cause exempts them from consequences. Then reality shows up—usually wearing a badge—and the shock sets in. Actions have outcomes, and allegedly committing a crime can carry serious repercussions.

This incident is just one example amid numerous recent attacks on federal agents, including cases where officers have been hit by vehicles, rammed, or even shot at. Through it all, agents continue to show restraint, discipline, and commitment to their mission.

The takeaway is simple and positive: the rule of law still matters, professionalism still exists, and federal agents are doing their jobs despite relentless hostility. And for those who think throwing things at law enforcement is activism—consider this a helpful reminder that it’s a very bad choice.
