About Those So-Called ‘Tips’ on Trump and Epstein in the Latest Files Dump

The Trump administration released millions of pages from the Epstein files, and the left immediately rushed to X to wave around a small portion of them as if they had uncovered some kind of smoking gun against President Donald Trump. Specifically, they are pushing so-called “tips” sent to the FBI’s National Threat Operations Center and to the U.S. attorney’s office in the Southern District of New York. According to them, these mentions of Trump and Epstein are “evidence.” And according to reality, they are not.

Here’s the part the left is conveniently skipping. These tips are what can best be described as “random nutter” submissions—claims with no supporting proof. That’s why even the New York Times, of all outlets, is showing restraint and not treating them as credible. When the Times suddenly looks cautious, you know something is off.

One example being circulated involves Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes in 1995–1996. Small problem: the golf course didn’t even exist then. But that hasn’t stopped people from sharing it like it’s gospel. Facts, apparently, are optional when Trump’s name is involved.

What’s also missing from the left’s posts is the DOJ’s own debunking column in the released summary. That section notes cases where the reporting person had psychiatric issues, didn’t provide contact information, or never responded when investigators followed up. It’s pretty hard to build a case when the “witness” disappears or can’t be reached—unless you’re just trying to build a narrative.

Even more impressive is that multiple Democratic members of Congress are spreading these claims. That leaves two possibilities: either they have no discernment at all, or they couldn’t be bothered to do five minutes of basic research. Either way, it’s a strong argument for not putting them in charge of anything important.

The Justice Department itself warned that the documents “may include fake or falsely submitted images, documents, or videos.” It also stated that some of the materials contain false claims against President Trump that were submitted to the FBI before the 2020 election. Funny timing, right? The left is also ignoring that warning while pretending every scrap of paper is suddenly gospel truth.

Ironically, the DOJ releasing these documents—even ones that could be twisted to look negative—shows transparency. They dumped everything, true or not, criminal or not. That’s not how criminal files are usually handled, but the law required it, so out it all went. And now we’re watching people confuse rejected tips with verified evidence.

There’s also a basic problem the Trump smear crowd can’t solve: if the Biden team had any real, valid information on Trump tied to Epstein, they would have used it long ago. They didn’t—because they couldn’t.

And here’s what the left really wants to ignore: actual victims who came forward, like Virginia Giuffre, consistently said Trump never did anything to her. Trump removed Epstein from his club years ago and even helped the victims’ attorney. Those facts haven’t changed, no matter how many pages get dumped online.

With more than three million pages released, this whole episode doesn’t show evidence against Trump—it shows desperation from people who still don’t have anything solid. The bottom line is simple: without real allegations backed by real evidence, you have nothing. Apply the 48-hour rule, check the facts, and don’t fall for the spin.

And if this massive release proves anything, it’s that after all these years and all these documents, the left is still empty-handed. Truth has a funny way of surviving the noise—and that’s a good thing for the country.
