According to findings from the Daily Caller News Foundation, Ma — currently considered the Democratic frontrunner in California’s 2026 lieutenant governor race — allegedly participated in dozens of meetings involving CCP officials over the years. The report cites translations of Chinese government statements and state media reports detailing the interactions.
Among the more alarming claims, the investigation states that Ma introduced American lawmakers to Chinese intelligence officials during some of these meetings while also presenting awards to CCP members and individuals described as influence operatives connected to the Chinese government.
That’s the kind of headline that would trigger nonstop media outrage if there happened to be an “R” next to someone’s name. But somehow when Democrats cozy up to foreign communist officials, the national media suddenly becomes very interested in “nuance” and “context.” Imagine that.
