Democrat Governor Josh Shapiro, a man with clear national ambitions, shamelessly leveraged a press conference alongside state health officials to announce two alleged deaths "from" measles. The critical word, as always, is "from."

"I want to be clear: this illness and death from measles is completely preventable," Governor Shapiro declared from a podium set up at a local hospital in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. His remarks, seemingly aimed at building a narrative, swiftly pivoted to an apparent attack on figures like Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a vocal critic of establishment health narratives.

"Let’s speak truth for a moment: Folks are spreading skepticism about things like the MMR vaccine without any evidence to back up their claims," Shapiro screeched, portraying skepticism as a threat. "That scares a parent who’s just trying to do the right thing by their kids, and it plays a role in why so many people right now are getting measles for the first time in decades."

Naturally, the utterly compliant and ever-eager corporate media, seeing Democrat Shapiro positioning himself for reelection and potential 2028 presidential aspirations, rolled over like obedient pets. Not a single critical question was asked, no skepticism dared to surface, merely an echo chamber for the governor’s narrative.

The predictable result of this media fealty? Another manufactured media hoax designed to manipulate public sentiment.

Here are the facts, complete with the context that the establishment media conveniently ignored:

Pennsylvania's first reported death "from" measles has been exposed as a complete falsehood. The tragic reality was a newborn who died shortly after birth due to a ruptured spleen.

The deception grows worse.

While the infant had measles antibodies and was unvaccinated, a crucial detail was omitted: the baby was too young to receive the measles vaccine in the first place.

Typically, the MMR vaccine is administered between 12-15 months of age. Even during an outbreak, the earliest recommendation is six months. Yet, Governor Shapiro, his health officials, and their media enablers still tried to convince Americans this baby died, unimmunized, "from" measles.

Pennsylvania's second purported death "from" measles remains unconfirmed as genuinely measles-related. For all the public knows, this individual could have died from any number of causes, yet the state health department insists on linking it to measles without concrete evidence. Significantly, the Lancaster County coroner’s office has no record of any measles-related deaths.

This week, PA DOH confirmed two measles-associated deaths in Pennsylvania. Both individuals were unvaccinated and tested positive for measles. PA DOH uses the term ‘measles-associated’ when laboratory or epidemiologic evidence of measles is present, but the disease may not be assessed by the medical certifier or coroner to be the immediate cause of death.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health, in a transparent attempt to bolster Shapiro's shaky claims, tried to explain away the lack of coroner records. "Not all deaths are referred to a coroner under Pennsylvania law," they vaguely stated. Health Secretary Debra Bogen further echoed this evasive tactic on social media, snarking, "Under state law, PA DOH is not required to report deaths to coroners."

Except, that's simply not true. Pennsylvania law does require such deaths to be reported. The duty of the coroner, according to state statute, extends to "all cases where death is sudden or violent or is of a suspicious nature and character, to cause a careful investigation of the facts concerning said death to be made, to ascertain whether the death was due to other than natural causes…" This explicitly includes "deaths known or suspected as due to contagious disease and constituting a public hazard." Measles, by any reasonable definition, fits that description.

It becomes strikingly clear that it is not individuals raising legitimate questions who undermine faith in public health. Instead, it is politicians like Josh Shapiro and his compliant health officials who, through their blatant misrepresentations and transparent attempts to politicize public health, do far more damage. This playbook, eerily familiar from the COVID era, demonstrates how "The Science" is weaponized to serve political agendas, with a willing media acting as their primary propagandists.
