Democrat Senate Hopeful Graham Platner's Campaign Implodes Amid Bombshell Sexual Assault Accusation

The already embattled Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner finds himself at the center of a new and devastating sexual assault accusation, threatening to derail his campaign and expose the moral rot within the Democrat establishment. A 41-year-old Maine woman has come forward, claiming Platner sexually assaulted her nearly five years ago, according to a bombshell Politico report.

Jenny Racicot, a Maine resident, detailed her ordeal to Politico over multiple interviews, with the outlet reporting that documents and witness accounts corroborated her grave claims. Racicot described an on-and-off relationship with Platner before the alleged incident in late 2021 when he reportedly "entered her rural Maine home uninvited."

Racicot recounted Platner being "deeply intoxicated" and forcing himself on her despite her repeated pleas for him to stop. "I remember him grabbing my pelvis and being really forceful of me," she told Politico, adding, "I remember the specific moment where I thought to myself, like, 'This is no longer my choice.'"

She described an "almost blackout drunk" Platner getting on top of her. "I had been telling him these words, like: 'No, don’t,'" Racicot recalled. "And, the look on his face and realizing what was happening, I just realized that, like, I am in a situation where there’s no consent here."

Racicot revealed her decision to speak out was spurred by other women who had raised allegations against Platner. "One of the reasons I didn’t come forward sooner was, the huge moral conflict that I had between supporting his politics, but not supporting him as a person," she stated. "I just want the truth out there. I just want people to have a whole scope of who he is as a person."

Unsurprisingly, Platner denied the accusations, telling Politico, "These allegations are troubling, serious, and false." Moments after the story went public, Platner rushed to social media in a two-minute video message. "Any accusation of nonconsensual behavior is categorically false," he asserted, while acknowledging the "political reality" it would inflict, suggesting a "time to reflect on the best path forward."

This latest revelation sent shockwaves through the political landscape, with Platner’s campaign schedule unraveling dramatically. After a no-show at a Fourth of July parade, he postponed a Sunday town hall and later canceled another scheduled for Monday evening.

Local Gorham Democrats tried to brush off the cancellations, attributing them to the oyster farmer "not feeling well." One local Democrat, with a "deep sigh," stated, "From my understanding, he is not feeling well, so that’s all it is." Yet, insiders within the party were reportedly "bracing for a major shakeup," with several telling the Bangor Daily News they expected a damaging national story about Platner to drop. And there it was.

Social media exploded with speculation about the Maine Democrat’s campaign nearing its end, a development that would dramatically reshape the midterm Senate race and offer a critical boost to Republican efforts to maintain control of the Senate.

This isn't Platner’s first brush with serious allegations. In June, The New York Times reported on several ex-girlfriends who described a pattern of "intimidating and disturbing" behavior, alongside revelations about his controversial Nazi tattoo and claims that he lied about its meaning.

Three former partners, including Lyndsey Fifield, detailed "volatile and 'toxic'" relationships, accusing Platner of demeaning women, becoming physically threatening, and being repeatedly unfaithful. One ex-girlfriend accused him of twisting her arm, shoving her into a bedroom, and holding the door shut until she became "calm."

The Platner campaign, predictably, denied misconduct and rushed to MS NOW for damage control, where Platner dismissed the claims as "politically motivated," especially "anything alleging physicality, anything alleging that I knew what my tattoo was."

Racicot herself indicated that the partisan, Democrat-led attacks on the New York Times story also pushed her to speak out, stating, "My part of the story was just a read-over, and the story was Lyndsey, and the accusations of her being politically motivated." This highlights the Democrats' attempt to silence accusers and protect their candidate.

Adding to Platner's growing list of scandals, The Daily Wire previously uncovered that the Senate hopeful maintained an active account on a social media platform known to attract child predators. Further reports emerged of Platner, a married man, exchanging sexually explicit messages with multiple women.

Platner’s primary victory was already a blow to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who had backed a different candidate. Maine Democrats now face a looming July 13 deadline to replace Platner if they hope to challenge incumbent Republican Sen. Susan Collins effectively.

Prediction markets reflect the dire situation for Platner, with the odds of him dropping out skyrocketing from 9% to a staggering 90% in just one day.

This cascading series of serious accusations against Graham Platner is not merely a political setback; it’s a glaring indictment of the judgment of those who backed him and a stark reminder of the compromised moral compass often found within the radical left. Americans deserve leaders who embody integrity and respect, not those embroiled in scandals that betray public trust and threaten the very fabric of our communities. The America First movement champions accountability, and this unfolding saga underscores the critical choice facing voters: genuine leadership or the ongoing chaos of a party in disarray.
