Maine Democrat Senate Candidate Faces Grave Accusations of Forced Sexual Encounter

A shocking accusation has emerged against Maine U.S. Senate candidate Graham Platner, a Democrat, as a 41-year-old Maine resident named Jenny Racicot publicly claims he forced her to have sex with him five years ago.

Racicot shared her harrowing account on CNN's 'The Lead' with host Jake Tapper, leaving little doubt about the gravity of her allegations against the aspiring senator.

When Tapper pressed, "But at the end of the day, you feel he's not being honest," Racicot's response was unequivocal: "No."

The alleged incident dates back to late 2021, a timeline Racicot recalled with chilling precision. She recounted that Platner, after misinterpreting a text message, decided to come to her home despite her clear protestations.

"I quickly clarified, and he sent a message back indicating that he would come over. And I said, no, don't come over like I'm not in the mood. Don't come over. And I was more stern with that message," Racicot detailed. Believing her message was received, she was horrified when Platner ignored her warnings.

"And so, like, half an hour later, I heard a noise outside my door. And, then he he came in. He just came into my house. It was unlocked. I live in an area where you don't usually have to lock your doors. I do now. So, he came in and I realized, okay, he didn't listen. He's in my home," she explained, painting a disturbing picture of a boundary brazenly crossed.

Racicot described herself as being on her couch, already preparing for bed, when Platner allegedly proceeded with his unwelcome advances. "He had kind of, like, jumped on top of me and indicated that he had intentions that were sexual in nature."

Her attempts to stop him were explicit. "I remember just at first being like, hey, I'm not into this. Like, don't I'm not in the mood, like, don't whatever," she stated. But her words fell on deaf ears, as she realized he was not listening. The situation escalated, Racicot noting a stark change in Platner's demeanor.

"I looked at him and I remember this very specific look in his eyes, and I could smell alcohol. And I was like, this is different. He is heavily intoxicated, like. And that blank stare was kind of like a photographic memory that that I still have of that night. That was me recognizing what the situation was," she described. It was clear, she stressed, that this was far more serious than a simple misunderstanding.

"This wasn't just like, oh, hey, somebody showed up and I'm going to tell him to go home. Like he was heavily intoxicated, had intentions with me and wasn't listening when I said, no," Racicot underscored, highlighting the alleged disregard for her consent.

These serious allegations against a Democrat candidate for U.S. Senate raise critical questions about character, accountability, and the standards we expect from those seeking to represent the American people. The America First movement has consistently called for unwavering integrity in public service, a principle that applies to all, regardless of party affiliation.
