No joking: Trump issues blunt warning to Iran: "I'll blow the S--- out of them" if they close the Strait

President Donald Trump delivered a direct and uncompromising warning to Iran on Sunday, making it clear that any attempt to close the Strait of Hormuz will be met with overwhelming force.

In an interview with Fox News’ chief foreign correspondent Trey Yingst, Trump revealed he had personally warned Iranian leaders about the consequences of disrupting the critical waterway. “You close it and you won't have a country,” Trump said. “You won't even make it back to your f------ country.”

Trump noted that 19 million barrels of oil passed through the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday alone. He reiterated that the United States could act as the “Guardian Angel” of the waterway and potentially take 20% of the oil in return for providing security. The President also repeated his earlier stance on tolls: “If they don't make a deal, we'll collect tolls,” Trump said.

He left no doubt about America’s willingness to escalate if necessary: “We may take over the Strait, if we have to,” Trump said. “I'll blow the s--- out of them.”

When informed of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian’s comments about maintaining the right to enrich uranium, Trump responded sharply: “He better watch his mouth,” Trump said of Pezeshkian. “He better shape up or we'll take over the rest of the country.”

Trump further emphasized that the 60-day ceasefire and negotiation framework established under last week’s Memorandum of Understanding is not a permanent restraint on U.S. options. “It is just an option,” Trump said. “I can do whatever I want after that option.”

The remarks underscore the Trump administration’s firm approach to negotiations with Tehran: America is willing to deal, but it will not tolerate threats to global energy security or continued bad-faith behavior from the Iranian regime. The message is clear — the era of weakness and empty diplomacy is over.
