These records stretch back to the mid-1980s, encompassing both amateur and professional competitions, and the tally, while from CWA, highlights a crisis too often ignored by mainstream media.

It details how transgender athletes have competed in more than 14,301 female sporting events, accumulating over $501,498 in professional prize money that rightly belonged to biological women. In California alone, CWA identified over 611 instances where a woman or girl was relegated to second place, denied their rightful victory by a competitor with inherent biological advantages. Disturbingly, CWA noted that every one of these figures has surged since their previous report in July 2025.
Penny Nance, President of Concerned Women for America, did not mince words, calling the situation an "outrage."
"It is shockingly unfair for biological women to have to compete against trans-identifying men," Nance stated with righteous indignation. "Our research finding that trans-identifying males have stolen over 2,293 gold medals from women in the United States is an outrage. Biological men have distinct advantages over biological women. This reality not only puts women in harm's way, but it eliminates opportunities for biological women to earn a living and win competitions. Congress must act to protect biological women."

Nance is urging lawmakers to finally address this clear injustice by passing measures that protect school athletics, Olympic and amateur sports, and crucially, enshrine the biological definition of sex under Title IX. Because, apparently, common sense needed a permission slip from Washington.
