President Donald Trump isn’t mincing words — and honestly, why should he? With the government shutdown dragging on and Obamacare’s subsidies running out, Trump took to Truth Social over the weekend to remind everyone exactly what he thinks of Barack Obama’s so-called “Affordable” Care Act.
“OBAMACARE SUCKS. THE WORST HEALTHCARE FOR THE HIGHEST PRICE,” he wrote Sunday morning. Straight to the point — something Washington could use more of.
On Saturday, Trump proposed a common-sense idea: stop sending billions to bloated insurance companies and give the money directly to the American people. “PAY THE PEOPLE, NOT THE INSURANCE COMPANIES!” he wrote, adding that hardworking Americans could buy better, cheaper policies on their own — without the middlemen getting rich off their pain.
He followed up by blasting the “fat cat” insurance companies that have been milking the system since Obama forced his government-controlled plan down everyone’s throat. “NO MORE MONEY… TO THE DEMOCRAT SUPPORTED INSURANCE COMPANIES FOR REALLY BAD OBAMACARE,” he said. “THE MONEY MUST NOW GO DIRECTLY TO THE PEOPLE.”
It’s classic Trump — cutting through the noise, calling out corruption, and fighting for everyday Americans instead of the D.C. elites and corporate donors who profit from keeping things broken.
He also urged Senate Republicans to act, recommending that the “hundreds of billions” currently wasted on propping up Obamacare be redirected to citizens. In his words: “Take from the BIG, BAD Insurance Companies, give it to the people, and terminate… the worst Healthcare anywhere in the world, ObamaCare.”
Trump didn’t stop there. He once again pushed for ending the filibuster — the same obstruction tool Democrats will gladly destroy the second they get the chance. “Republicans should terminate the filibuster… End the shutdown, pass lots of great ‘things,’ and win the midterms. SO EASY TO DO — Be the Smart Party, not the Stupid Party!”
As usual, he’s right. Obamacare was never about affordable care — it was about government control, higher costs, and endless red tape. Trump’s message is simple: trust Americans to make their own choices, not bureaucrats in Washington or insurance lobbyists getting fat off taxpayer money.
“Pay the people, not the corporations.” Sounds like a plan every American — left, right, or center — should be able to get behind.
