U.S. launches larger round of airstrikes on Iranian targets

The U.S. military conducted a new and expanded round of airstrikes against Iranian targets on Saturday, following another attack by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on a commercial vessel in the Strait of Hormuz, according to a senior U.S. official who spoke to Fox News.

The strikes targeted Iranian air defenses, drone storage facilities, cruise missiles, targeting radars, minelaying capabilities, and surface-to-air missile systems.

“It’s a larger strike than last night,” the official told Fox News.“ Iran had a chance to stop shooting… and they didn’t take it,” the official added. “Instead, they attacked another ship in Hormuz this morning, the MT Kiku.”The latest Iranian aggression comes despite the fragile ceasefire framework established under the Trump administration’s Memorandum of Understanding.

The U.S. response demonstrates a clear willingness to defend freedom of navigation and respond forcefully when Tehran violates agreements and endangers international shipping.

President Trump’s administration continues to show that American patience has limits — and that attacks on commercial vessels or U.S. interests will be met with decisive military action.

The message to the Iranian regime is unmistakable: continued provocation will only lead to greater consequences. Trump is not playing. Learn already.
