The tragic event unfolded on Monday as an Airbus A350, operated by the low-cost airline French Bee, was being prepared for departure. The employee, whose name has not been released, worked for ground-handling company Samsic and was struck by the aircraft during its pushback operation, according to officials.
French Bee confirmed the accident occurred as Flight BF5761 was preparing for its journey to Paris-Orly. The exact circumstances leading to the fatality "remain to be established," the airline stated, pledging full cooperation with Canadian authorities.
"The airline extends its deepest condolences to the individual’s family and loved ones as well as its support to colleagues and all teams affected by this event," a French Bee spokesperson told Fox News Digital, emphasizing their commitment to assist the ongoing investigation.
