Take Twitch streamer Hasan Piker, for example, who joined a CodePink delegation to Cuba earlier this year, posing with CodePink co-founder Jodie Evans. Both are now facing scrutiny from the Treasury Department. Rep. Bill Huizenga, R-Mich., chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on South and Central Asia, pulled no punches, stating, "Adversarial nations like China, Russia, and Cuba conduct malign influence operations here in the United States by utilizing social media influencers such as Hasan Piker as proxies to promote communism and push their false propaganda."
Huizenga’s objective is crystal clear: "My goal is to raise the curtain to expose these operations and stop them from undermining our national security, capitalism and the American Dream."
The congressional hearing will weave together multiple threads of foreign influence, including the alarming financial networks fueling the "red-green alliance" – socialist and communist groups aligning with Islamist organizations like Students for Justice in Palestine. This dangerous coalition, symbolized by the red of communism and the green of Islam, works to subvert American values and interests.
At the heart of this financial web is Neville Roy Singham, an American-born tech tycoon living in Shanghai, who has openly supported the Chinese Communist Party and Xi Jinping’s vision for a "new world order." His marriage to CodePink co-founder Jodie Evans in 2017 highlights the deep interconnections within this network.
A recent Fox News Digital investigation meticulously traced $591 million in transactions across five continents, revealing how Singham’s money flowed through multiple layers of organizations. Specifically, $278 million was funneled into six core anti-America, pro-China propaganda nonprofits, including CodePink, the People's Forum, and Tricontinental Ltd.
These organizations, while denying wrongdoing and crying "witch hunt," are clearly acting as conduits for foreign adversaries. The money trail reveals a deliberate, systematic effort: $167.5 million to People's Support Foundation Ltd., $68.7 million to Justice and Education Fund Inc., $22.44 million to the People's Forum, $16.76 million to Tricontinental Ltd., $1.33 million to CodePink, and $1.098 million to BreakThrough BT Media – a veritable propaganda arm that often broadcasts anti-America protests.
As Balling observed regarding CodePink’s modus operandi, "Their method of operation is to disrupt, of course, to get the soundbites on Twitter or Instagram or what have you, but they are not ever interested in a respectful dialogue." She highlighted the ironic timing of DiNucci's outburst, noting she was about to discuss how CodePink and the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) are key members of the National Network on Cuba, the largest pro-Cuban regime organization in the U.S.
