Gays Against Groomers, the group that says it is “fighting to end the war on children” from inside the gay community, ripped into trans-identified Minnesota lawmaker Leigh Finke after he argued that “queer” children should be allowed access to adult websites for so-called “educational purposes.”
“It’s time to sweep this creep’s hard drive. Pure evil,” the group posted on X, alongside a clip of Finke’s remarks made Thursday in the legislature. Nothing says “education” quite like sending minors to adult websites, apparently.
The comments surfaced as a House committee considers legislation that would require adult websites to verify users’ ages before allowing access to pornographic content. In other words, a bill meant to keep kids away from explicit material somehow turned into an argument for letting certain kids see it.
Finke quickly went into damage-control mode on Instagram, claiming the viral clip was edited and ignored the rest of his remarks. He insisted he actually supports preventing minors from accessing pornography and said he wanted to work with Republicans on a bill to do just that.
But then came the explanation: some students, according to Finke, need access to non-“hardcore” adult websites because they “are not receiving sex education for queer kids.” Translation: if schools don’t teach it, the internet should. What could possibly go wrong?
Finke also posted the full video of his committee presentation and accused the “Republican House” of twisting his intent. He said his words were being used “to do harm” because of who he is and claimed a clip was deliberately taken out of context and spread online “among the usual hate mongers.” Funny how these controversies always seem to trip over the same rake.
Since being elected in 2023 as the first transgender member of the Minnesota House, Finke has been a vocal supporter of LGBTQ+ causes and other far-left priorities. He recently sponsored an anti-masking bill targeting federal immigration agents operating in the state, ensuring his name stays in the headlines.
Gays Against Groomers, meanwhile, has been under constant fire from the left, often accused of being a MAGA group pretending to be a gay advocacy organization. The left-wing “hate” watchdog Southern Poverty Law Center claims the group promotes “anti-LGBTQ ideologies” and unfairly labels LGBTQ identity as harmful to children. In other words, protecting kids has become controversial.
The bill currently under review would require commercial websites hosting material deemed “harmful to minors” to verify that users are at least 18 before granting access. It is being considered by the Minnesota House Commerce Finance and Policy Committee and would be enforced by the state attorney general. Parents or guardians would also be allowed to sue sites that fail to follow the rules.
So now the left is arguing with itself over whether kids should be shielded from porn—or guided toward it under the banner of “education.” Only in modern politics does common sense become a civil war.
The good news? More Americans are waking up to what these debates are really about: protecting children and restoring boundaries that should never have been crossed. And when parents, lawmakers, and citizens finally say “enough,” sanity has a fighting chance again.
