Scientists Vanishing Raises Eyebrows—GOP Lawmaker Warns of “Suspicious Pattern”

Something strange is going on—and no, it’s not just another internet conspiracy thread.

A growing number of high-profile scientists and researchers in the United States have reportedly died or gone missing over the past year, and now even lawmakers are starting to ask questions.

One of the most concerning cases involves William Neil McCasland, a retired Air Force major general who disappeared in New Mexico on February 27. McCasland wasn’t just any retired officer—he reportedly had knowledge of highly sensitive military programs, including UFO-related intelligence.

Naturally, that’s not the kind of résumé that makes people less curious when someone suddenly vanishes.

Republican Congressman Tim Burchett has openly suggested there may be a pattern, pointing to multiple researchers disappearing under what he described as “suspicious circumstances.”

And he’s not the only one raising concerns.

Investigative journalist Ross Coulthart went a step further, floating the possibility of foul play. Speaking on NewsNation, he questioned whether someone may have deliberately “taken the general out of the picture,” noting McCasland had “some of the most sensitive U.S. military intelligence secrets in his head,” including advanced technologies like particle beam systems.

But the list doesn’t stop there.

Monica Reza, a material scientist with ties to aerospace work, also went missing in June 2025 while hiking in the Angeles National Forest. She previously worked at Aerojet Rocketdyne, a company connected to projects funded by NASA and the Air Force Research Laboratory.

Again—another highly skilled individual with connections to sensitive research… just gone.

Now, to be clear, there’s no official confirmation tying these cases together. But when multiple experts in advanced scientific and defense-related fields start disappearing, people are going to notice. And they’re going to ask questions.

Because at some point, “coincidence” starts to feel like a very convenient explanation.

For now, these cases remain unsolved, and speculation continues to grow. But one thing is certain: attention is increasing, and pressure for answers is building.

And in situations like this, sunlight matters.

Because the more eyes on these cases, the harder it becomes for the truth—whatever it may be—to stay hidden.
