Soros-Backed DA Larry Krasner Under Federal Fire: DOJ Grand Jury Probes Obstruction

The Department of Justice is reportedly tightening its grip on Philadelphia’s controversial, Soros-backed District Attorney, Larry Krasner. News breaking Tuesday morning reveals that Krasner’s office has been served with federal grand jury subpoenas, marking a significant escalation in an investigation into potential obstruction of justice.

These subpoenas, reportedly delivered in recent days, directly stem from a damning criminal referral made last month by U.S. District Judge Paul S. Diamond. The referral implicated Krasner and one of his top deputies, Matthew Stiegler, in serious misconduct.

Judge Diamond’s September 15 referral outlined evidence suggesting that Krasner and his office may have deliberately misled the court and interfered with a case involving a convicted murderer. The judge's findings pointed to actions that "could constitute false statements, perjury, obstruction of justice, and conspiracy." In a stern rebuke, Judge Diamond wrote, "I have thus reluctantly concluded that Philadelphia's highest law enforcement official and one of his top assistants may have violated the law." This is a stark declaration from the bench, exposing potential rot at the heart of Philadelphia's justice system.

The intricate case revolves around Dennis Johnson, convicted of murder in 2009. Krasner’s office, in 2022, agreed that Johnson was due a new opportunity to contest his conviction due to ineffective original counsel. However, Judge Diamond discovered that prosecutors within Krasner’s own office had flagged a conflict of interest, advising that the case be handed over to the state attorney general. Instead, Krasner reportedly resisted this common-sense measure and, even more concerning, is alleged to have pressured his staff to provide false information to the court, warning of "consequences" if they dared to speak truthfully.

While neither Krasner nor Stiegler has been formally charged with a crime, and the DOJ has yet to issue an official statement, the arrival of federal grand jury subpoenas transforms this into a profound test of accountability. For too long, Soros-backed prosecutors across America have operated with a perceived shield, implementing radical policies that prioritize criminals over victims and undermine law and order. This federal inquiry into Larry Krasner signals that even those who wield power in the name of "justice reform" may eventually face real consequences for their actions when they cross the line into illegality. The American people deserve a justice system rooted in truth and integrity, not political agendas and alleged obstruction.
