Vance Stays Out of Israeli Race: Vice President Focuses on U.S. Midterms While Backing Trump’s Historic Record

WASHINGTON, DC – Vice President JD Vance has made it clear that while President Donald Trump commands the most effective endorsement power in global politics, his own immediate focus remains firmly planted on securing victories for American candidates in the upcoming midterm elections.

During an interview with Mark Halperin on "2WAY Tonight," Vance addressed whether he would follow President Trump's lead in endorsing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's reelection bid. Pointing to domestic priorities, the vice president explained his reasoning clearly: "The president has the most effective endorsement in American or international political history. I endorse American candidates, and that’s where I’m focused on in the midterms. So I’m not getting involved in Israeli elections."

The vice president's comments arrived just one day after President Trump delivered his "Complete and Total Endorsement" of Netanyahu in a comprehensive Truth Social post, lauding the prime minister as a steadfast U.S. ally and crucial partner in confronting the Iranian regime.

Eager media pundits were quick to look for daylight between the White House partners, but Vance firmly shut down any false narratives of division. Clarifying that his stance carried no hostility toward the Israeli leader, Vance added, "I’m not anti-endorsing him. I’m not pro-endorsing him. I’m not getting involved in Israeli elections."

While establishment commentators obsess over procedural nuances, the Trump-Vance administration continues to prioritize national strength, domestic accountability, and a laser-focused drive toward sweeping victories at the ballot box this November.
