The New York Times recently tried the classic hit piece, claiming President Donald Trump is showing signs of “fatigue” because Americans supposedly see him at fewer events than in his first term.
Utter nonsense. Trump has been working non-stop since day one of his second term, constantly engaging with the press, meeting with world leaders, and making deals that benefit the American people. If anything, he’s too available — often doing back-to-back international investments, domestic visits, and ceremonial duties, all in a single day.
Even liberal MSNBC host Katy Tur admitted the obvious on The Daily Beast Podcast with Joanna Coles: Trump is working harder than the media gives him credit for. She noted his relentless schedule, from Asian investment deals to handing out Halloween candy stateside — all in the same day.
Meanwhile, President Biden’s record tells a very different story. Minimal daily events, limited press contact, and repeated reports of cognitive lapses during meetings with world leaders. Staff routinely issued early “lids” to shield him from scrutiny. Trump, by contrast, is receiving awards and even Nobel Prize nominations from foreign governments, while Biden struggles to stay focused in the simplest of settings.
The hypocrisy is staggering. Democrats and the media love to push the “fatigue” angle on Trump while conveniently ignoring or dismissing the real issues with Biden’s competence and cognitive decline. Now, even liberal commentators are acknowledging what Americans already know: there’s a stark difference between Trump’s tireless engagement and Biden’s faltering leadership.
It’s simple: involvement versus absence, competence versus cognitive decline. And no amount of narrative spin can change that.
